The Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro, has urged Lands Officers across the state to embrace emerging technologies and adapt to evolving digital trends to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Eko Hot News reports that Agoro gave the charge during the opening ceremony of a three-day retreat organised for management staff of the Lagos State Lands Bureau.

The retreat, themed “Sustainable Performance, Digital Readiness and Team Excellence for a Greater Lagos,” was held at Jubilee Chalet under the banner “Lands 360: Team Bonding and Performance Enhancement.”

Speaking at the event, Agoro described the theme of the retreat as timely, noting that technological advancements are continuously reshaping workplace operations and public service delivery.

He explained that Lagos State is gradually transitioning from conventional digital systems to more advanced electronic processes, making it necessary for public officers to remain updated and prepared.

According to the Head of Service, embracing innovation and digital transformation will help improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of services provided to residents.

Agoro commended the Permanent Secretary of the Lands Bureau, Kamar Olowoshago, alongside management staff and Lands Officers for their dedication and commitment to duty.

He praised the officers for maintaining professionalism and resilience while carrying out their responsibilities within the public service sector.

The Head of Service noted that public service remains a call to responsibility and integrity, adding that the efforts of Lands Bureau officials continue to distinguish the agency among government ministries, departments, and agencies.
