The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), in partnership with Agege Local Government, has graduated participants of the Agege MSME Capacity Building Programme aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs with business and financial management skills.
Eko Hot News reports that the graduation ceremony, held on April 30, 2026, brought together young participants who successfully completed the structured entrepreneurship training programme designed to improve economic participation and business sustainability across Lagos State.

The initiative focused on equipping small and medium-sized entrepreneurs with practical business knowledge, relevant entrepreneurial skills, and financial support needed to grow and sustain their enterprises.
Organisers explained that the programme was part of deliberate efforts to move entrepreneurs from business readiness to prosperity by expanding access to training, business networks, and finance opportunities.
Delivering a goodwill message at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Climate Change and Circular Economy, Titilayo Oshodi, commended the investment in youth development and entrepreneurial empowerment.

She noted that strengthening youth capacity remains critical to expanding economic opportunities and promoting inclusive growth across Lagos State.
The event also had in attendance the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Abdul Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, and the Executive Secretary of LSETF, Feyisayo Alayande.

Traditional rulers, community stakeholders, and graduands of the programme were also present at the ceremony, which celebrated the participants’ successful completion of the business development initiative.
