The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has held its 12th orientation and oath-taking ceremony for students of the School of Medical Laboratory Technicians.

The event brought together the College Provost, management, academic staff, students and representatives of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
The MLSCN delegation was led by its Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Donald Ofili, who was represented at the ceremony by Mr. Simon Bukar.
Bukar formally welcomed the students into the profession and introduced them to the values, responsibilities and ethical standards expected of medical laboratory practitioners.

In his welcome address, the Provost of LASCOHET, Professor Raheem Akewushola, urged the students to approach their training with discipline and dedication.
