The Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Health District V, Dr. Oladapo Asiyanbi, has called on healthcare workers to demonstrate greater dedication, accountability, and proactive commitment in improving health service delivery across communities in the district.

Eko Hot News reports that the charge was given during a strategic engagement meeting with key health officials, including Directors, Medical Officers of Health (MOHs), Apex Nurses, Apex Community Health Officers, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, and Local Immunisation Officers.

Dr. Asiyanbi emphasized the need for practical action and consistent implementation of healthcare initiatives rather than discussions alone, noting that improved outcomes depend on effective execution at all levels.

He stated that healthcare personnel must take deliberate steps to ensure positive impact in service delivery, particularly in strengthening systems that support community health development.

According to him, officers must remain committed to driving initiatives that improve healthcare access, while responding promptly to challenges within their areas of responsibility.

He encouraged health workers to maintain focus, discipline, and teamwork in delivering quality services, especially in key areas such as immunisation, maternal and child health, monitoring and supervision, and community healthcare services.
