Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Tinubu at 74 with Food Packs, Open Letter

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu marked the 74th birthday of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the distribution of 20,000 food packs and a personalised message to residents.

Eko Hot News reports that the symbolic distribution took place at De Blue Roof Event Centre and across various parts of Lagos, reaching residents in all 20 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas.

The initiative targeted diverse groups including community leaders, youths, and women. Beneficiaries also included worshippers at the Chapel of Christ The Light and the Central Mosque in Alausa.

Top government officials attended the event, including the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, and Special Adviser on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Tajudeen Afolabi.

In an open letter read during the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu described President Tinubu as an extraordinary leader. He called on Lagos residents to join in celebrating his life and achievements.

The governor’s message encouraged unity and optimism among citizens. He urged Lagosians to remain committed to national progress and shared development goals.

The letter also highlighted the importance of collective resilience. According to the governor, recent reforms are beginning to yield positive outcomes for the country.
