Sanwo-Olu Felicitates Muslims at Start of Ramadan

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has extended warm wishes to Muslim faithful in Lagos as the holy month of Ramadan begins.

Eko Hot News reports that the Governor described the sacred period as a time for peace, deep reflection and spiritual renewal for adherents of Islam across the state.

Sanwo-Olu noted that Ramadan offers an opportunity for individuals to slow down, reconnect with what truly matters and extend support to vulnerable members of their communities.

He encouraged residents to use the season to strengthen bonds of unity, compassion and generosity, especially toward those facing challenges.

The Governor prayed that the weeks ahead would bring strength, clarity and abundant blessings to Muslim faithful, urging all Lagosians to keep one another in prayers throughout the holy month.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering harmony, inclusiveness and peaceful coexistence among people of all faiths in the state.
