Sanwo-Olu Reaffirms Commitment to Invest in Lagos 3.0 Summit Readiness

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed Lagos State’s readiness to deliver a globally competitive edition of the Invest in Lagos 3.0 Summit. The assurance came during a briefing session with members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) held at Lagos House, Marina.

Eko Hot News reports that the meeting highlighted the strategic importance of the upcoming summit as a key platform for attracting investment, strengthening international partnerships, and promoting Lagos as a leading destination for business, innovation, and economic development in Africa.

The Governor emphasized that the summit will play a central role in advancing economic growth across key sectors. He noted that Lagos remains committed to expanding opportunities in infrastructure, industry, technology, and job creation through targeted investment engagement.

Sanwo-Olu stated that the state government is leveraging the summit to showcase Lagos as a stable and competitive market for global investors. He added that ongoing reforms and infrastructure development continue to strengthen confidence in the state’s economic direction.

He further described the event as more than a conference, noting that it is designed as a strategic platform to attract real investment outcomes. According to him, the goal is to deepen partnerships that will support long-term prosperity and sustainable development.

The Governor commended the LOC for its level of preparation and coordination ahead of the summit. He praised the collaboration between government institutions and private sector partners working to ensure a successful and impactful event.

Briefing the Governor, the LOC leadership, co-chaired by Deputy Chief of Staff Sam Egube and Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment Folashade Bada Ambrose-Medebem, provided updates on planning activities. These included stakeholder engagement, logistics arrangements, and programme design.

The committee also highlighted strong inter-agency cooperation and growing private sector participation. They noted that efforts are being intensified to attract both local and international investors across multiple sectors of the Lagos economy.

According to the LOC, preparations are in their final stages, with focus on delivering a seamless and well-coordinated summit. They assured that all arrangements are being finalized to host delegates, investors, and development partners from across the world.
