Organized by the Lagos State Government in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), the event will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to lead discussions at the summit alongside the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele.

Other notable speakers include Co-Chair of the Lagos Finance and Investment Council (LFIC), Aig Imoukhuede, and Chief Executive Officer of Moniepoint Group, Tosin Eniolorunda.

The summit, now in its third edition, is themed “Lagos: Business Gateway to Africa.”

Participants will engage in discussions focused on investment opportunities, innovation, infrastructure development, technology, energy, and sustainable economic growth.

Sessions have been designed to examine Lagos’ role as Africa’s global gateway while exploring future opportunities in technology, urban development, and international partnerships.

The programme will also spotlight talent development, creativity, culture, and sustainability as key drivers of long-term economic expansion.

According to the organizers, the summit aims to strengthen Lagos’ reputation as a preferred destination for investment, trade, and business partnerships across the continent.

He explained that the event will move beyond discussions by creating pathways for partnerships and investment opportunities capable of supporting economic growth.

Omotoso noted that Lagos will showcase major developments across transportation, technology, energy, tourism, manufacturing, and urban renewal projects.

Participating governors will also present investment opportunities from their respective states to potential investors and business partners.

These visits will include key locations such as the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Lagos Free Zone, Lagos Port, and RusselSmith’s advanced manufacturing facility.

Stakeholders believe the summit will further reinforce Lagos’ position as a major economic hub and gateway for investment opportunities across Africa.

With increasing global interest in emerging markets, Invest Lagos 3.0 is expected to create new partnerships and open additional channels for sustainable growth and development.
