The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has performed the Turning of the Sod for the TETFund Presidential Initiative on Students’ Hostel Development at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), marking a significant step toward improving student welfare, safety, and learning conditions.

Eko Hot News reports that the hostel development initiative is designed to expand access to safe, decent, and affordable accommodation for students, while enhancing campus life and academic productivity at the institution.

Dr Alausa said the project reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and aligns with reforms under the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), which prioritises access, quality, and sustainability across the nation’s education system.
