Lagos Traffic Radio and LASACO Assurance PLC have reaffirmed their partnership to create more value for customers and residents of Lagos State through information-driven public service and strategic collaboration.
Eko Hot News reports that the commitment was disclosed during a courtesy visit by the Managing Director of LASACO Assurance PLC, Mr Ademuye Shobo, who led his management team to Lagos Traffic Radio.
Mr Shobo praised Lagos Traffic Radio for its role in disseminating accurate insurance information through its programmes, while also facilitating commerce with timely traffic updates that reduce travel time, stress, and loss of man-hours.

He disclosed that LASACO is well-positioned to meet ongoing insurance sector recapitalisation requirements, revealing that the company raised ₦11.1 billion through a private placement concluded in January 2025.
According to him, following the enactment of the NERA 2025 law, LASACO’s board approved plans to raise ₦25 billion, the required capital base for a composite insurance company.

Mr Shobo urged other ministries, departments, and agencies to emulate Lagos Traffic Radio’s effective communication model and public service delivery.
Responding, the General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, Mr Tayo Akanle, welcomed the visit and described partnerships as a critical driver of institutional growth.

He noted that the station is currently expanding its operations, particularly in enhancing signal strength and reach across Lagos.
Mr Akanle assured LASACO of sustained collaboration, stressing that the partnership would continue to deliver quality services and mutual growth.

Both organisations expressed optimism that the partnership would further strengthen public engagement, service efficiency, and value delivery to Lagos residents.
