Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated his wife, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of her 59th birthday.
Eko Hot News reports that Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, a medical doctor and the First Lady of Lagos State, clocked 59 on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
The governor’s goodwill message was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the First Lady, who also serves as Chairman of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), as a caring partner and committed prayer warrior.

He noted that his wife of over two decades has remained a loving wife, devoted mother, and strong support system throughout his public service journey.
According to the governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu has been a reliable partner in advancing the THEMES+ development agenda of his administration.
He praised her for effectively using her position as First Lady to support governance and ensure the delivery of democratic dividends to residents of Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu described her as a God-fearing woman, passionate Christian, and a lover of children, whose compassion reflects in her service to humanity.
