Lagos Audit Commission Rewards Excellence

The Lagos State Audit Service Commission (ASC) has recognised outstanding officers for their dedication, professionalism and exceptional contributions to public service during its Second Quarter 2026 Outstanding Performance Awards.

Eko Hot News reports that the awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Commission’s Conference Room in Alausa, Ikeja, as part of efforts to promote excellence and reward outstanding performance among staff.

The event highlighted the Commission’s commitment to encouraging hard work, integrity, accountability and continuous improvement across the Lagos State Public Service.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Permanent Secretary of the Audit Service Commission, Mrs. Oluwakemi Amudat Garbadeen-Adedeji, said the awards reflect the Commission’s dedication to recognising excellence and inspiring staff to deliver quality service.

She congratulated the award recipients for their commitment and urged all employees to remain focused on achieving the Commission’s goals through professionalism and dedication.

Mrs. Garbadeen-Adedeji encouraged members of staff to uphold high ethical standards while contributing meaningfully to the Commission’s mandate of promoting accountability and sound public financial management.

At the ceremony, Mr. Kingsley Ehiedu Omoh of the Planning and Statistics Unit received the Management Category Award for his outstanding performance during the quarter.

The Senior Category Awards were presented to Mr. Isiaka Otori Usman of the Administration and Human Resource Department and Mrs. Sanya Adebukonla Aishat of the Career Management Department.

The Junior Category Award went to Mr. Durosinmi Sewanu Okoosi of the Administration and Human Resource Department in recognition of his dedication and excellent service.

The Procurement Unit also received the Departmental Excellence Award for its exceptional performance and contributions during the second quarter of 2026.

Mrs. Garbadeen-Adedeji described the award recipients as role models whose achievements demonstrate the value of commitment, discipline and professionalism in public service.

She reaffirmed the Commission’s determination to sustain a transparent and merit-based reward system that motivates employees and encourages higher productivity.
