Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, was in Jalingo, Taraba State, to join party leaders and supporters at the Jolly Nyame Stadium for a reception rally welcoming Governor Agbu Kefas into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Eko Hot News reports that the well-attended rally drew APC faithful from across Taraba State and beyond, marking Governor Kefas’ formal alignment with the ruling party and strengthening the APC’s growing national base.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the occasion as an opportunity to connect directly with party members while reaffirming the collective resolve of leaders and supporters to deepen the party’s structures across Nigeria.
He noted that the APC remains focused on unity, inclusion, and grassroots engagement as essential tools for sustaining democratic governance and national cohesion.
According to the Lagos Governor, the rally underscored the shared commitment of party leaders to strengthening the APC in every region of the country through collaboration and shared vision.
Sanwo-Olu emphasised that the party, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, remains fully committed to delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.
He said the agenda reflects a national resolve to drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, strengthen institutions, and promote inclusive development across all states of the federation.
