Bode Agoro has reaffirmed Lagos State Government’s commitment to building a professional and future-ready public service.
Eko Hot News reports that Agoro made this known at the 2026 Joint Negotiating Council (JNC) meeting. The session was held at the State Treasury Office Resource Centre.
The Head of Service described human capital development as vital. He noted that a motivated workforce remains key to sustainable governance.
He explained that reconvening the council reflects commitment to accountability. It also strengthens institutional processes across the public service.

Abidakun reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to a conducive work environment. She noted that outcomes from the meeting will strengthen labour relations.
She added that the resolutions will support implementation of the THEMES Plus Agenda. This aligns with the state’s development priorities.
Chairman of the Joint Negotiating Council, Michael Domingo, also addressed participants.
