The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Saheed Ademola Elegushi, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

Eko Hot News reports that the Governor joined family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the monarch’s golden jubilee, describing him as a passionate and visionary traditional ruler.

Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that Oba Elegushi’s reign has brought growth, development, and stability to the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom over the years.

He commended the monarch for his dedication to community service and his consistent efforts in promoting unity and progress within his domain.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the Governor praised Oba Elegushi’s contributions to the traditional institution in Lagos State.

He highlighted the monarch’s commitment to the welfare of his people, noting that his leadership continues to inspire positive change across the community.

Sanwo-Olu acknowledged that Oba Elegushi has spent both his youthful and adult years serving his people and advancing the development of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom.

He described the monarch as vibrant and forward-thinking, adding that his nearly two decades on the throne have been marked by impactful initiatives.

The Governor also offered prayers for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the royal father as he celebrates this milestone.

He expressed hope that Oba Elegushi would witness many more fruitful years on the throne while continuing to serve humanity with dedication.
