Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has pledged government support for a community healthcare initiative led by the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Lagos chapter.
Eko Hot News reports that the governor received the Amirah and executive members of Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria at Lagos House, Marina, where discussions focused on the ongoing construction of a community clinic in Elesan village, Eti-Osa.
The proposed clinic is designed to provide accessible healthcare services to residents across the community.

Governor Sanwo-Olu described the initiative as impactful, noting that projects open to all align with the state’s goal of improving healthcare access.
He commended FOMWAN for its dedication and sacrifice in undertaking such a significant project.
According to him, the association’s efforts reflect a strong commitment to community development and social responsibility.

The governor assured that the Lagos State Government would collaborate with the group to ensure the clinic is completed efficiently and meets expected standards. He emphasized the importance of partnerships in delivering sustainable healthcare solutions.
Members of FOMWAN expressed appreciation for the government’s recognition and support.
