The Lagos State Government has refunded over ₦23.2 million to verified subscribers of the Egan-Igando Mixed Housing Scheme.
Eko Hot News reports that the refunds were issued following the transfer of the housing scheme to the Lagos State Ministry of Housing and delays in project delivery timelines.
Some subscribers who had made part payments opted to withdraw from the scheme and requested refunds.
At a meeting held at the Ministry, verified subscribers were presented with refund cheques after due screening and authentication of claims.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr. Abdulhafis Gbolahan Toriola, addressed the subscribers during the session.
He clarified that subscribers who completed full payments after the transfer have been allocated their respective housing units.
