The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment has intensified efforts to combat unemployment by convening a strategic industry engagement to accelerate the implementation of its 100,000 Lives Strategic Framework.
Eko Hot News reports that the high-level meeting, held at the Ministry’s conference room, brought together key stakeholders, including Workforce Consulting and Courier Logistics Limited, to explore structured partnerships that will generate expanded employment opportunities for Lagos residents.

The engagement focused on building practical collaboration frameworks designed to strengthen employability pathways, enhance workforce readiness, and promote sustainable income generation across the State.

Speaking during the session, the Permanent Secretary, Lolade Aina, stated that the Ministry is moving beyond policy discussions toward measurable and impactful employment outcomes.

She stressed that the objective is not merely to create statistics but to ensure meaningful transformation through access to decent jobs and enterprise development opportunities. According to her, strategic partnerships remain essential to achieving the framework’s ambitious targets.
Aina further noted that closing skills gaps and building scalable workforce solutions are central to the Ministry’s long-term employment strategy.

She reiterated that the government is committed to ensuring that job creation efforts translate into real economic empowerment for residents.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Lagos State’s position as a hub for opportunity, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.
