Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received the President of Rotary International, Francesco Arezzo, during a courtesy visit at Lagos House.
Eko Hot News reports that the visit brought together Rotary leaders and top officials from the Lagos State Government to discuss partnership opportunities in humanitarian service and sustainable development.
The Rotary delegation included District Governor 9111, Henry Akinyele; District Governor 9112, Lanre Adedoyin; President-Elect, Olayinka Babalola; The Rotary Foundation Trustee, Ijeoma Okoro; and National Coordinator, Andy Uwajeyan.

Also present were the spouse of the Rotary International President, Anna Maria, and other key Rotary officials.
Governor Sanwo-Olu presented a Lagos State plaque to Arezzo in recognition of Rotary’s global humanitarian impact and longstanding service initiatives.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between government and service organisations in advancing health, education and community development projects.

Senior state officials in attendance included the Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr Olugbenga Oyerinde; the Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr Sam Egube; and Special Advisers, Dr Kemi Ogunyemi (Health) and Dr Oreoluwa Finnih (SDGs).
The courtesy visit reaffirmed Rotary International’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Lagos State in driving impactful social interventions.

The engagement highlighted shared goals of promoting sustainable development and improving the well-being of residents across Lagos.
