The Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) has conducted a strategic review meeting with its registration software partner, Identiko Integrated Solutions, to evaluate key components of its registration infrastructure.

Eko Hot News reports that the meeting was held in Ikeja, Lagos, and focused on the agency’s registration system support framework, disaster recovery architecture, and capacity upgrade from 10 million to 20 million records.

The review highlighted LASRRA’s commitment to using technology to strengthen residents’ registration services, improve data security, and enhance identity management across Lagos State.

During the session, Identiko Integrated Solutions presented an assessment of the project, which ran from January 2023 to December 2025, and evaluated system performance against agreed benchmarks.

Discussions centred on the reliability of the support system, the effectiveness of disaster recovery mechanisms, and the expanded data capacity required to support Lagos State’s growing population.

LASRRA General Manager, Mrs Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, commended Identiko for continuous service improvements but raised concerns over the planned deployment of Android registration devices.

She stressed the need for field-level Android support and a database system that LASRRA can manage independently.

Identiko Solutions CEO, Mr Jide Agbaje, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to advancing public-sector technology. He noted that digital public infrastructure is designed to help residents access government services more efficiently.

The meeting was attended by LASRRA divisional supervisors, station managers, heads of departments and units, alongside Identiko’s top management and project implementation team.
