The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has pledged to consolidate the achievements of his administration as he prepares to complete and commission several transformational projects across the state in 2026.
Eko Hot News reports that the governor said the projects are driven by the THEMES+ development agenda and will be fully supported by the 2026 budget, tagged The Budget of Shared Prosperity, currently before the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Governor Sanwo-Olu explained that the budget, estimated at over N4 trillion, is anchored on four pillars: human-centred development, modern infrastructure, a thriving economy, and effective governance, aimed at building a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive Lagos.
He spoke at the 2026 Lagos Annual Thanksgiving Service held at Tafawa Balewa Square, organised by the First Family of Lagos State in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The governor described the thanksgiving service as an opportunity to appreciate God’s mercy over Lagos State and its residents, noting that gratitude remains central to purposeful leadership.
