Sporting Lagos is ready for the 2025-26 NNL season, its head coach has said.
Eko Hot News reports that the head coach of Sporting Lagos football club, Jeffery Butter, has expressed his team’s readiness for the 2025–26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Sporting Lagos head coach Butter believes that the intense training sessions and pre-season games have prepared the team for the new campaign.
“I think we’re ready. We’ve shown that we have done a lot of work in the last six or seven weeks,” Butter stated to the media at a pre-season tournament in Ogun State.
“These performances and results are a testament to it.”
Eko Hot News reports that Sporting Lagos will face Osun United in their opening fixture of the upcoming season.
The 2025–26 Nigeria National League season is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
