The Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) has rebuilt the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Zone 25 office destroyed during the 2020 #EndSARS protests and donated two operational vehicles to boost the agency’s service delivery.
Eko Hot News reports that the newly renovated office complex and vehicles were officially handed over to LASTMA Zone 25, which covers the Bariga and Oworonshoki axis, as part of LSDPC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The office had remained abandoned since it was damaged during the 2020 #EndSARS protests. LSDPC undertook the reconstruction to provide a modern and conducive working environment for traffic management personnel.
In addition to rebuilding the office, the corporation donated two operational vehicles to strengthen LASTMA’s capacity to respond more efficiently to traffic-related duties across the zone.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LSDPC, Hon. Ayodeji Joseph, said the intervention reflects the corporation’s commitment to supporting public institutions through impactful CSR projects.
The Managing Director was represented at the event by the Executive Director, Business Development and Joint Venture, Mr. Derin Phillips.
According to him, meaningful partnerships among government agencies remain essential to improving public service delivery and enhancing operational efficiency.
He explained that investing in critical infrastructure for public institutions ultimately benefits Lagos residents by strengthening the quality of services provided.

Receiving the renovated office and operational vehicles, the General Manager of LASTMA expressed appreciation to the management of LSDPC for the intervention.
He described the project as a significant boost to the agency’s operations, noting that the upgraded facility will provide officers with a better working environment.
The LASTMA boss also said the additional vehicles would improve the agency’s operational efficiency and enhance response time to traffic situations within the Bariga and Oworonshoki corridor.
According to him, the donation will strengthen the agency’s ability to manage traffic effectively while improving mobility for motorists and commuters.
He commended LSDPC for demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting institutions that play critical roles in maintaining order on Lagos roads.
