The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has monitored the conduct of the Third Term Unified Examination in public primary schools across the state to ensure a smooth and credible assessment process.
Eko Hot News reports that the Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu, led a team of board officials on an inspection tour of selected examination centres to evaluate the conduct of the exercise.
The monitoring exercise formed part of the Board’s efforts to ensure that the Third Term Unified Examination was conducted in line with established academic standards and examination guidelines.
During the inspection, the LASUBEB team assessed the level of preparedness at the examination centres, compliance with examination procedures and the overall coordination of the exercise.
Officials also observed classroom arrangements, supervision, examination materials and the general environment to ensure the exercise was orderly and efficient.
Speaking during the monitoring exercise, Dr. Shittu reaffirmed LASUBEB’s commitment to maintaining the credibility and integrity of all academic assessments conducted in Lagos State public primary schools.
He explained that the Unified Examination provides a standardised assessment system that enables pupils across all public primary schools to be evaluated fairly using the same academic benchmark.
