The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has reiterated its commitment to strengthening security collaboration across the state in partnership with key stakeholders.
Eko Hot News reports that the General Manager of LNSA, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, made this known while commending the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) for organising a capacity-building programme for security stakeholders.
He described the training as timely, noting that it provides a platform for enhanced cooperation and intelligence sharing among security agencies in the state.
According to him, such initiatives are essential in addressing emerging security concerns and improving coordinated responses across operational levels.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his continued support of initiatives aimed at improving safety and strengthening the security framework in Lagos.

Prince Oyekan reaffirmed that the LNSA operates strictly within the provisions of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps Law of 2016, as amended in 2019.
He explained that the agency is not in competition with other security outfits but rather works to complement the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force and other law enforcement bodies.
He added that the agency’s core mandate focuses on collaboration, synergy, and community-based intelligence gathering to support effective policing.
According to him, stronger inter-agency cooperation remains vital in building safer communities and enhancing overall security outcomes across Lagos State.

Participants at the training were encouraged to actively engage in the sessions and apply the knowledge gained in their respective organisations.
The LNSA boss stressed the importance of sharing insights acquired during the programme to improve operational efficiency and coordination among agencies.
He further commended the presence of heads of various law enforcement agencies and dignitaries at the event.
Prince Oyekan described their participation as a clear demonstration of collective commitment to strengthening Lagos State’s security architecture.

He noted that sustained collaboration among stakeholders is key to ensuring a proactive and responsive security system.
The LNSA reiterated its dedication to supporting initiatives that promote safer communities and effective service delivery in line with government priorities.
