The Wife of the Chief of the Air Staff, Mrs Ngozi Aneke, has paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, at Lagos House, Marina, Lagos.
Eko Hot News reports that the visit formed part of efforts to strengthen civil–military relations and promote social impact initiatives that benefit residents, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups across the state.
Mrs Aneke was warmly received by Governor Sanwo-Olu, who commended the Nigerian Air Force family for its commitment to national service and community-focused programmes.
The Governor reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s readiness to collaborate with stakeholders whose initiatives align with the state’s development agenda, especially in healthcare, education, and social welfare.
During the visit, discussions centred on areas of possible partnership, including humanitarian outreach, support for military families, and community empowerment initiatives.
Mrs Aneke highlighted her passion for initiatives that promote family wellbeing, youth development, and social responsibility, noting that Lagos remains a strategic partner for impactful programmes.
She praised the Lagos State Government for its inclusive policies and sustained investments in social infrastructure, describing the state as a model for good governance and people-oriented leadership.
The courtesy call also underscored the importance of unity and collaboration between government institutions and the Armed Forces in driving national development.
Officials present at the meeting described the engagement as cordial and productive, with both parties expressing optimism about future collaborations.
The visit ended with the presentation of souvenirs and a reaffirmation of shared commitment to service, compassion, and national progress.
