The Lagos State College of Health Technology has partnered with the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency to launch a campus activation campaign aimed at promoting a safer and more inclusive academic environment.

Eko Hot News reports that the campaign was officially unveiled at the college premises. The initiative is designed to encourage students to speak up and promote a culture of respect and safety.

The Provost of LASCOHET, Raheem Akewushola, represented by Deputy Provost (Academics), Olaronke Agoro, welcomed the DSVA delegation to the institution.

He noted that the activation campaign is focused on raising awareness and empowering students. According to him, it aims to strengthen collective responsibility in maintaining a safe campus environment.

The Executive Secretary of DSVA, Lola Vivour-Adeniyi, commended the college management for supporting the initiative.

She highlighted the importance of proactive steps in safeguarding the dignity and well-being of students and staff. According to her, collaboration is key to achieving lasting impact.

Vivour-Adeniyi noted that sexual and gender-based misconduct remains a critical issue. It affects individuals, families, and communities across society.
