The Lagos State Lands Bureau has announced Thursday, January 29, 2026, as another opportunity for members of the public to interface directly with the Bureau’s officials.

Eko Hot News reports that the engagement aims to address land title perfection issues and resolve challenges affecting seamless land administration across Lagos State.

According to the Bureau, the public interface session provides a structured platform for landowners, applicants, and stakeholders to seek clarification, lodge complaints, and obtain guidance on documentation and approval processes.

Officials explained that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve transparency, efficiency, and service delivery within the land administration system in the state.

The Lands Bureau noted that unresolved perfection issues often delay land transactions and create avoidable disputes, making regular engagement with the public necessary.

Residents with pending applications, documentation gaps, or administrative concerns were encouraged to attend the session for prompt resolution of their issues.

The Bureau stressed that direct interaction with its officials helps eliminate misinformation, reduce reliance on middlemen, and ensure that procedures are properly followed.

It added that the interface also allows officials to educate the public on best practices, compliance requirements, and recent reforms in land administration.

The Lagos State Government has consistently emphasised the importance of an efficient land administration framework to support investment, urban development, and economic growth.

The Lands Bureau assured participants that issues raised during the session would be treated with professionalism and in line with existing laws and regulations.

Officials also reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to continuous improvement and citizen-focused service delivery.

Members of the public were urged to come along with relevant documents to enable effective engagement and quicker resolution of their cases.

The Lands Bureau expressed optimism that sustained public engagement would further strengthen confidence in land administration processes in Lagos State.
