Officials presented updates on project implementation, milestones, and ongoing construction activities across selected transport corridors.

Following the briefing, both teams conducted an on-site inspection of the Marina Interchange Hub construction project.

The Marina Interchange Hub is designed to improve urban mobility and enhance passenger experience within Lagos’ transport network.

Once completed, the facility will include a modern transit terminal, cycling lanes, and pedestrian walkways.

The project is aimed at promoting non-motorized transport and improving connectivity within the city.

It is also expected to reduce traffic congestion and support sustainable urban transport systems.

During the inspection, the AFD delegation commended the progress achieved despite earlier construction challenges.
