About 200 Christian intending pilgrims from Lagos State have been airlifted to Israel and Jordan for a 10-day holy pilgrimage, marking the commencement of the Y2025 Christian pilgrimage exercise.

Eko Hot News reports that the pilgrims departed Lagos at exactly 1:15 a.m. for Amman, Jordan, aboard a chartered Southwind Airline aircraft, flight TAH 3103, as the first batch of the year’s pilgrimage.

The departure followed the issuance of travel documents and air tickets at the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, where officials ensured all pilgrims met travel and documentation requirements.

Addressing the pilgrims, the representative of the National Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Venerable Joseph O. O. Chibuogwu, PhD, urged them to cooperate fully with immigration and security officials in Israel and Jordan by responding politely and truthfully to routine questions.
