Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has declared 2026 a year of “kabush kabash”, signalling a period of intense spiritual challenges and battles. The Onitsha-based cleric announced his New Year crossover service.
Eko Hot News reports that Odumeje told worshippers the year would involve spiritual warfare, urging them to prepare for trials ahead. He described “kabush kabash” as a time of confrontation and spiritual resilience, emphasising that divine backing would help overcome difficulties.
During the service, Odumeje encouraged his congregation to lift their “hands of destiny” and trust in spiritual support. He reassured them that, despite challenges, he was ready to lead and confront adversities with heavenly guidance.
The cleric, known for his dramatic preaching style and theatrical gestures, told followers that he had never lost a spiritual battle and would not start in 2026, inspiring strong reactions from the congregation.
