The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cultural exchange and creative collaboration at the ARTNOVATION Afro-Italian Renaissance held in Victoria Island.

The programme attracted top government officials and cultural stakeholders, including the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr Idris Aregbe, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila.

ARTNOVATION Afro-Italian Renaissance was designed to celebrate the Renaissance era while revisiting the historical evolution and shared cultural heritage between African and Italian societies.

Participants explored artistic expressions, cultural narratives and historical connections that highlight long-standing ties between Afro-African and Italian communities.
