LASEPA General Manager, Dr Tunde Ajayi, disclosed this during a recent media interview, noting that the engagement aims to strengthen compliance with Lagos State environmental laws before, during, and after the festive period.

He said the event will be held at the State Treasury Office Resource Centre, Asbifi Road, Alausa, Ikeja, from 8:00 a.m.

Ajayi explained that participants will be guided on environmental standards, responsible operations and noise management practices required to avoid penalties and ensure sustainable business operations.

He added that the workshop is expected to attract top government officials, including the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, and other senior government functionaries.

According to him, the session will provide practical insights into environmental best practices essential for maintaining a safe and harmonious urban environment in Lagos.

The General Manager urged operators in the hospitality and entertainment sectors to participate fully, stressing that the initiative is designed to support industry growth while safeguarding residents’ well-being.

Ajayi assured residents that LASEPA is working around the clock to ensure a peaceful and noise-controlled yuletide season across the state.

He called on Lagosians to continue supporting the state government’s efforts toward a cleaner, safer and pollution-free environment.
