The Citizens’ Mediation Bureau (CMB) has organised a targeted Refresher Training for its mediators to enhance service delivery and strengthen dispute-resolution practices across Lagos State.
Eko Hot News reports that the session was convened to improve mediator competence, reinforce ethical standards and promote a more efficient, people-centred mediation system within the state’s justice framework.
Permanent Secretary of the Citizens’ Mediation Bureau, Mrs. Aderinsola Olanrewaju, underscored the necessity of continuous learning, noting that routine training equips mediators to deliver prompt and professional services.
She stated that the Lagos State Government remains committed to accessible justice, and the bureau’s mediators must stay adequately prepared to support residents through effective conflict resolution.
Mrs. Olanrewaju added that the training aligns with the State’s broader goal of building a responsive justice system capable of addressing community-level disputes with speed and fairness.
