The management of Education District IV has applauded the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, for his continuous benevolence toward strengthening teacher welfare and improving public education in Surulere.

Eko Hot News reports that the commendation came during a strategic meeting between the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of the District, Mr Olufemi Bamidele Paseda, and the leadership of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Surulere Branch, held at the District Headquarters. The engagement focused on deepening collaboration and sustaining the cordial relationship between the district and the teachers’ union.

Led by Chairman Comrade Mustapha Sodiq, the NUT delegation expressed heartfelt appreciation for the district’s persistent support for teachers, staff development, and school improvement initiatives. Other union leaders present included Secretary Comrade Giwa Oluwakemi, Treasurer Comrade Balogun Yusuf, State Editor Comrade Shoremekun Olugbenga, and respected union figure Comrade Arogundade Sikiru.

Participants emphasised the need for shared responsibility in attaining long-term advancements in education during the entire discussion. They gave Rt. a radiant homage. Hon.
