The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, has joined other top government officials to attend the 2025 Lagos Culture Week, a vibrant cultural showcase held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Juicy Lagos, Victoria Island.
Eko Hot News reports that Aregbe was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila, and Directors from the Ministry, as the event officially kicked off the festive “Detty December” season in grand cultural style.
This year’s edition, themed “Empowering Local Creatives, Enriching Lagos Culture,” brought together creatives, performers, cultural enthusiasts, and industry stakeholders for a celebration that highlighted the rich artistic identity of Lagos. The programme featured music, live artistic showcases, indigenous performances, and creative interactions that reflected the cultural brilliance the state is known for.
