The Lagos State Government has awarded N150 million to 33 innovative agripreneurs under the Lagos Agrithon competition, the Ministry of Agriculture & Food Systems announced.
Eko Hot News reports that the grants were presented during the Lagos Agrinnovation Summit 2.0, where winners received cheques to support their agriculture-based startups and initiatives. The funding aims to boost innovation in Lagos State’s agricultural sector, empower local entrepreneurs, and drive sustainable food systems across the region.

The Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture & Food Systems said the initiative is part of the state’s ongoing effort to encourage technology-driven solutions in farming, enhance productivity, and create opportunities for young agripreneurs to scale their businesses.
