Jandor says Seyi Tinubu is qualified to run for governor in 2027.
Eko Hot News reports that the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has disclosed that Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, is qualified to run for governorship in 2027.
The 2023 Lagos PDP Candidate, however, stated that the President’s son is not as experienced as he is because Seyi has never been on the ballot before.
Jandor made this disclosure while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, in response to a question on whether he stands a chance against the likes of Seyi, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Tokunbo Abiru, and others.
He said, “Okay, so all the names that you have mentioned, just like I said earlier, they are all qualified to be governor of Lagos. This includes Seyi himself, every one of them.
“And you’re not going to take anything away from no one. But from all of them that you have mentioned, aside from the former governor that you mentioned, none of them have actually been on the ballot as governorship candidates aside from myself.
“So I come with that experience. I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing.”
