PDP has set a new date for its National Convention.
Eko Hot News reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, has shifted its National Elective Convention, originally planned for August, to November 2025.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this while speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday after the party’s 101st National Executive Committee meeting.
Ologunagba announced that the convention will now take place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, instead of Kano, the previously announced venue.
