The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, hosted hundreds of worshippers at the 6th edition of Lagos Praise 2026, a major thanksgiving and worship gathering held at the Blue Roof, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
Eko Hot News reports that the event, themed “O Lord My God… Fa Awon Orun Ya!”, brought together Christians from various denominations and backgrounds for a special session of praise, worship, and prayer for Lagos State and Nigeria.
The gathering provided an avenue for participants to reflect on God’s faithfulness, mercy, and continued guidance over the state and the nation.

This year’s edition held special significance as it marked the final Lagos Praise programme under the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
Governor Sanwo-Olu joined worshippers at the event alongside the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, senior government officials, Christian leaders, and distinguished guests.
Students from various secondary and tertiary institutions also participated in the praise gathering, adding youthful energy to the celebration.
