Babajide Sanwo-Olu has held a strategic meeting with members of the Local Organising Committee for the upcoming Invest in Lagos Summit 3.0 as preparations intensify for the 2026 international investment gathering.
Eko Hot News reports that the meeting focused on advancing Lagos State as a leading destination for business, innovation, infrastructure development, and global investment opportunities.

According to the governor, discussions centred on positioning Lagos as an environment where businesses can thrive, investments can grow, and economic opportunities can benefit more residents across the state.
Sanwo-Olu highlighted the impact of the previous editions of the summit, noting that they opened strategic conversations with global investors and development partners while strengthening Lagos’ reputation as a serious investment destination.
The 2026 edition of the summit is scheduled to hold from June 8 to 9 and will receive support from the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).

The governor expressed confidence that this year’s summit would build on past achievements by attracting more partnerships, investments, and long-term economic value for Lagos residents.
The Invest in Lagos Summit has continued to serve as a major platform for showcasing investment opportunities in Nigeria’s commercial capital, with expected focus areas including infrastructure, technology, innovation, and sustainable development.
