Women leaders from the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, led by Permanent Secretary Mrs. Lolade Aina, participated in the 2026 Women Directors’ Luncheon at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. The event was organised by the women’s wing of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIOD) as part of International Women’s Day celebrations.

Mrs. Aina noted that gatherings like this empower female professionals to take their rightful place among women shaping governance and decision-making in Nigeria.

The event featured a keynote address by Moji Hunponu-Wusu, Founder and CEO of Wood Hall Capital, focusing on enhancing leadership capacity among female directors.

Other dignitaries in attendance included former Minister Amina Oyagbola and former Ambassador to Greece, Nimi Akinkugbe. Several notable female leaders from both public and corporate sectors also joined the discussions.
