The monarch was accompanied by prominent chiefs, including Chief Hakeem Akintoye, Ajiroba of Iru Land; Chief Olaitan Olumuyiwa, Otun Bobaselu of Iru Land; and Chief Michael Tawadrous, Taiyese of Iru Land.

Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed the royal delegation and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining strong ties with traditional institutions across the state.
