The monarch was accompanied by prominent chiefs, including Chief Hakeem Akintoye, Ajiroba of Iru Land; Chief Olaitan Olumuyiwa, Otun Bobaselu of Iru Land; and Chief Michael Tawadrous, Taiyese of Iru Land.
Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed the royal delegation and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining strong ties with traditional institutions across the state.
The visit underscored the importance of synergy between government and traditional rulers in promoting peace, development and community engagement.
Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation for grassroots development and advancing initiatives that align with the state’s growth agenda.
