Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of a month of fasting and spiritual reflection.

Eko Hot News reports that the Governor, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, commended Muslim faithful for their dedication to prayers, sacrifice, and acts of charity throughout the holy month.

Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness the end of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual renewal and discipline. He noted that the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr is a moment of joy and thanksgiving for Muslims across Lagos and Nigeria.

The Governor highlighted the significance of Ramadan as one of the pillars of Islam. He explained that fasting during the period teaches self-discipline, strengthens faith, and encourages total submission to the will of Allah.
