The Head of Service of Lagos State, Bode Agoro, has presented appointment letters to seven newly appointed Permanent Secretaries at the State Secretariat in Alausa Ikeja.
Eko Hot News reports that the appointments were approved by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen policy implementation and advance the THEMES Plus Agenda of the administration.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji Adesanya of the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency, Mrs. Durodola Olubukonla Olusola of the Public Service Office, and Mrs. Oladeji Oluwatoyin Olubunmi from the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development.

Others are Mr. Sorungbe Tiwalade Adeyinka from the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Arc. Olukareh Bolanle Monica of the Office of Works, Dr. Oluwo Adenike Oluwafunmilayo from the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, and Dr. Martins Babajide Olumuyiwa of the Ministry of Justice.
Mr. Agoro congratulated the appointees, describing their elevation as well-deserved and a recognition of their dedication and service within the public sector.
He charged them to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to effective service delivery in their respective roles.

The Head of Service emphasised that Permanent Secretaries play a critical role in driving government policies and ensuring that programmes are efficiently implemented across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
He further encouraged the new appointees to align their responsibilities with the developmental priorities of Lagos State and contribute meaningfully to governance outcomes.

The appointment ceremony reflects the Lagos State Government’s commitment to strengthening leadership capacity within the public service and enhancing institutional efficiency.
