The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, has paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, to strengthen inter-agency collaboration on safety operations across Nigeria.
Eko Hot News reports that the meeting took place at the Force Quarters in Abuja, where both leaders discussed strategies to enhance coordination and improve operational effectiveness between their agencies.
The visit underscored the importance of collaboration among security institutions in promoting public safety and protecting lives and property across the country.
During the engagement, Prince Oyekan commended the IGP for his forward-thinking approach to policing, particularly his use of technology while serving as Commander of the Rapid Response Squad.
He expressed confidence that such innovative methods would be expanded at the national level to improve intelligence gathering, response efficiency, and overall service delivery.
The LNSA General Manager also appealed for structured training programmes for agency personnel. He noted that continuous capacity building remains essential to strengthening operational performance.
Prince Oyekan emphasised that enhanced training support from the Nigeria Police Force would further equip LNSA officers with modern skills needed to carry out their duties effectively.
In response, IGP Disu assured the delegation of his full support and readiness to collaborate with the agency. He reiterated his commitment to fostering synergy among security organisations nationwide.

The Inspector-General noted that coordinated efforts between agencies would contribute significantly to maintaining a safer and more secure environment for residents.
He added that strengthening partnerships and sharing expertise remain key to improving outcomes across the security sector.

Senior officials present at the meeting included DIG Margaret Agebe Ochalla, DIG Umar Shehu Nadada, AIG Olabode Adeleye, and Lateef Ajao, Director of Operations and Monitoring at LNSA.
