Education District II has organised a Career Day Programme to equip students with knowledge and guidance for informed career choices.
Eko Hot News reports that the programme was organised by the Guidance and Counselling Unit with the theme “Pathways to Purpose: Discovering and Exploring Careers, Shaping the Future.”
The event was held at the Immaculate Heart Hall in Maryland and attracted students from schools within the district.
It was designed to expose learners to diverse career opportunities and inspire purposeful academic planning.

Seasoned professionals and guidance counsellors from various fields participated in the programme.
They shared practical insights, real-life experiences, and professional advice with the students.
Speaking at the event, the Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary of Education District II, Mr Omotayo Layemo Sanni, stressed the importance of early career guidance.
He was represented by the Director of Guidance and Counselling, Mrs Bolanle Adeniyi.
