The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has launched a comprehensive digital college management system and lecture attendance monitoring platform to enhance academic delivery and institutional efficiency.

Eko Hot News reports that the initiative is designed to address challenges linked to manual attendance registers, assignment collation, and monitoring of lecture delivery across departments.

The college organised a hands-on training session for academic and non-academic staff to familiarise them with the digital solution aimed at improving class monitoring, attendance management, assessment administration, and examination processes.

Participants were also introduced to a Digital Access Card system for students and staff integrated into the platform.

Speaking at the session, the Provost, Professor Raheem Olasupo Akewushola, emphasised the need for technology-driven education, urging staff to become digitally proficient to meet global standards.

During the interactive session, participants raised concerns about the need for reliable internet connectivity to ensure smooth implementation during lectures and assessments.
