The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the first batch of three M-346 Fighter Attack (FA) aircraft in Italy, marking another significant step in the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s air defence capabilities.

A joint delegation from the Nigerian Air Force and the Federal Ministry of Defence carried out the inspection, confirming that the aircraft satisfied all contractual, technical and airworthiness requirements ahead of their delivery to Nigeria.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, described the acquisition as another milestone in the Nigerian Air Force’s transformation agenda. He noted that the M-346 aircraft provides a unique combination of advanced pilot instruction and operational capability.
