U.S. President Donald Trump has called for calm and patience as negotiations with Iran continue over a potential nuclear agreement.
Eko Hot News reports that Donald Trump made the appeal via a Truth Social post, expressing confidence that ongoing diplomatic efforts with Tehran will produce a favourable outcome for the United States.
Trump said Iran is interested in reaching a deal and insisted that any final agreement would benefit the U.S. and its allies.
He urged the public to remain patient, stating that the process would “work out well in the end.”
The president also criticised political opponents and some Republicans for what he described as constant interference in sensitive negotiations.
He argued that public pressure and commentary make diplomatic discussions more difficult to manage effectively.
Trump said negotiations require space and focus rather than repeated political criticism.
He maintained that his approach remains centred on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
According to him, any agreement must guarantee that Iran does not develop nuclear capabilities.
He reiterated that securing a permanent block on nuclear weapons remains a key priority.
Reports indicate that the U.S. administration has submitted a revised and tougher proposal to Iranian authorities.
